Winter Thyme Cocktail

Want to impress you guests with a cocktail that you can whip up in a flash, but still makes you look like an expert mixologist? The Winter Thyme Cocktail is the perfect recipe for you! With just a few simple ingredients, you can make this festive drink that everyone will rave about for years to come.

Sparkling Rose was the hit of the summer season but what most people don’t realize, is that it is the perfect transitional holiday wine. Sure you can pour yourself a glass and call it a celebration, but here is another way to drink it: MIXED WITH GIN! I have been experimenting a lot with gin lately (thank you Marvelous Mrs Maisel) and learned I like it – a lot!

I have taken to mixing gin with homemade jam and a bit of tonic for an old fashioned Gin & Jam cocktail, but now, since the Sparkling Rose is on deck, bringing it together with that! The florals in the wine pair with the botanicals in the gin (I like to use pink gin but you can use any brand for this Winter Thyme Cocktail). Oh! most stores now offer little containers of pomegranate seeds in addition to the whole fruit, so this makes garnishing a bit easier!
